Urban styled skateboard

This was part of my Urban design brief. This brief was to produce a Urban style product so I thought I'd do something different to what I've previously done and apply my design for a skateboard. In the bottom one "UrbanCity" I wanted to reflect urban culture. In this included features that linked to our national society, hobbies and fashion. As you can see I made a reflection of a city and on the adjacent side what our culture reflects. I used a shoe, speaker, stereo system a computer and mouse. I developed all designs separately and put them together as one. The fonts were developed as a set of 5 ideas along with 5 skateboard image ideas and then I chose what fonts suited which image I developed more. The reason for the 'URBAN' on the 'UrbanCity' skateboard was to be designed to look like graffiti which I focussed on as part of my research and development. The reason why I have spoke about this one is because it was my final product which was put onto a real skateboard and is on display at my college for the next couple of years.
